Has anyone had a problem with the new and improved modem? I got mine
switched out yesterday morning, and within 15 minutes after the tech left,
it stopped working. I called to report it, and a few minutes later, it was
on again. Stayed on until about 5 o'clock this morning, at which time it
went down again. When the tech came this time, he switched out one of the
cable connections and it started working again. For about another 15
minutes. Had to have him come BACK out, and this time he fiddled around
with some other connections. That was about 8 hours ago, and fingers
crossed, it's still working.
Anyone else have this experience? And why would switching out a modem cause
problems with the connections? I don't understand that.
