Filtering Spam in O.E.6.0

I am using rules to try to slow down spam since RR can't do it for me. My
Rules work great unless the content in the message is included in a HTML
format. Then it avoids my filtered words. Does this mean I must change my
settings to view all of my E-Mail in text only to stop this spam?

Try POPFile, it works great for filtering out spam for people using POP
clients (Like OE)
