any limits with home routers?

Here are my speed test results with my new digital phone modem thingy behind
a Linksys BEFSR41:

2005-03-15 22:29:47 EST: 4774 / 362
Your download speed : 4888625 bps, or 4774 kbps.
A 596.7 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 371023 bps, or 362 kbps.

I don't know if this is what I should be expecting or whether this "appears"
capped or what the story is on these numbers. I just post them here as a
comparison, if that is helpful.
