I feel compelled, given the many problems we've had over the years, to
note that, in the last few weeks, news service has been pretty good.

We quietly started implementing the new platform (finally after about 2
years). You are seeing the results. We are still working on the feeders.

Am I missing something here? In the last two or three days the news
service has gone back to the bad old days.

Yup. Almost as soon as I posted, I noticed news was going to crap
again. It's hard not to blame myself for jinxing it.
