It was not hard at all. You call 1-866-629-4925. Tell them you are a current
Road Runner customer and they give you a new AOL log in and password. Then
connect you to TW for a three way conversation to complete the process. I
will let everyone know how the downloading / installing process goes
later...

Or if you already have AOL, they already know that by your address and phone
and they convert your existing account to a free account.

No probems here. It went as smoothly as it could have.

I just called the local TWC Support number in San Diego, navigated through
some phone menus, and requested a free AOL account.
A lady gave me my AOL username and password and told me to install the
software from http://www.rr.com/getaol

Having had AOL for many years before I signed up for CableModem service from
TWC, I find setting up AOL from TWC is faster and easier than it was from
AOL.
