New Surfboard Modem is really slow

My Cable Modem quit working over the weekend. They just installed a new one
today. The wife was home during the switch so I couldn't be there to make
sure things were correct.
Well, I was getting close to 5000Kbps. Now I'm at a whopping 328!I might as
well go back to dial up!

That sounds like the UPSTREAM speed and if so it's normal.
the DOWNSTREAM should be 4000 to 5000 Kbps
