What is it going to take to get RR to start blocking some if this mass
spam!! Every day when I get home it takes at least 15 minutes to open them,
get the header, paste it and forward it to spamblock.I then I block the
sender!! But, it still keep coming!! I am just about ready to close my RR
POP account and just use my Yahoo mail. They don't seem to have a problem
blocking spam!!!!
Maybe I should forward every one of them to this group!!

Ditto, except the part about forwarding all of them to the group. We've all
got our very own individual copies of the spam you're getting.

I don't forward it any more, I don't believe it works.

As I was deleting my morning block of 100+ spams today, one of the attached
images displayed itself in my preview pane, one of those regalis/cialis
spams but this one had a photo of a guy with a large cucumber sticking out
the top of his waistband.

Gave me something to laugh about as I hit the Delete key...

Well, they shouldn't advertise they have it if it doesn't work.

You have to wonder what Mr. Smucker
thought of that tag line, don't you?

See: http://www.mailfrontier.com/

I use the gateway version at work and it traps over 44,000 spam e-mails a
day.

The desktop version is very good and very easy to manage.

"free" email service like yahoo blocks all my spam for free. RR says they
are but they AREN'T...So. suckers like you are having to spend even more $$
on something that should be free. YHOOOOOOOOO

J,
This message just shows how ignorant you really are.
You simply have no idea how spam blockers work so you have no idea if its
working or not. You really need to get a education about how computers and
mail work.

J,
Maybe you should read Edwin's response in "Update On Anti Spam Effort"
maybe then you will start to realize you have no idea what your talking
about and the spam blocking is taking place.

I have 7 different email accounts. Only RR doesn't (or can't) filter the
spam.
